Even More Psychotronic Movie Cover Art As Inspiration For Your Old School Post Apocalyptic Campaigns

Another random Google Image search has turned up another shovel full of absolutely wonderful, lurid, and downright disturbing artwork from another lost age. Looking at these I really wished that I saved more movie posters from back in the 90's when I worked in a video store in the back alleys in Boston. There are ton of ideas here that can be used with a wide variety of post apocalyptic old school adventures. I thought I'd share! I own absolutely none of this artwork, nor I'm trying to infringe on the copyright or trade mark of the artwork holders or the movies they represent. This post is for psychotronic entertainment purposes only.

This one is an old favorite of mine. Gotta love Metalstorm!

  1. Wow--I've seen only two of these; R.O.T.O.R. and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn. Love the "Too Gory for the Silver Screen" emblem on the Mutant Hunt cover. Might have to try and track down some of these...

  2. I actually chose R.O.T.O.R. and Metalstorm: The Destruction of Jared-Syn because their two of the titles that folks have seen. The other titles are more specialize but they've all got one thing in common. They're horribly bad in an awesome way.
These are getting harder to find but you might want to check some of the specialist video shops in your area. I've seen all of these because I used to work in a video store part time we got in a ton of weird stuff even in the 90's. Those were really the days when Block Buster was forcing places out.
There will be more to come. Thanks for the comment and good luck in your quest.
