Review & Commentary On Blaster Bolts #1 By Walt Robillard, & James M. Spahn From Fainting Goat Games For The White Star Rpg

Blaster Bolts #1 By Walt Robillard, & James M. Spahn From Fainting Goat Games  is a fanzine for For the White Star Rpg. And it's short, sweet, and clocks in at about nineteen pages of White Star goodness.

Blaster Bolts issue#1 features the following:

  • A new playable race by system creator James M. Spahn - the stout and hearty Twergs
  • A new story by scifi writer Walt Robillard set in his Hunter's Moon universe
  • Two pregen PCs and an adventure hook that tie into Robillard's story
The Twergs are pretty much stout aliens with a solid culture and actually would suit those looking to play something slightly different then the usual space elf style of adventurer.
The story set within the worlds of Walter Robillard are definitely grounded within Robilliard's Hunter Moon universe and while it suits White Star it reads as it's own universe setting.

Rounding out this issue is two pregen PCs and an adventure hook that tie into Robillard's universe. And these are well done. Blaster Bolts issue#1 is for the White Star player & fan whose looking to tie up or slide into a universe to begin playing White Star immediately. Everthing in this fanzine screams fast play, quick action, & a fun play experience.
There's nothing wrong with Blaster Bolts issue#1 and it's a great issue for the White Star rpg DM whose looking to hook up & dive into the White Star rpg system.
