Something, Something, about The Egg of Coot - Amazing Crusades - A Troll Lords Mash Up Campaign Session Reprt One - Now With 60% More Gonzo!

'We want to play in our Castles & Crusades campaign that you started us in last year!' 'Yes my PC has an artifact & we want to know what it does!' the look of bodily harm was evident. 'Are you guys sure because.. ' 'Yes!'
Note that this campaign has underpinnings of Castles & Cruades, Amazing Adventures, & more mixed in to the shadow of my Godbound/Cha'alt campaign.

Once again my group of players has pinned back my ears & made me deal with an old issue in this case its some of the Primal technologies that have cropped up in my game campaigns over the years. Some folks watch foot ball or base ball rooting for their favorite teams. For me religions have been one of my favorite pastimes to watch. Why!? Because religion is one of the things that as a dungeon master I've used to motivate societies & civilizations. And this get's into an old post I made last year  Campaign Matters Planar & Primal - OSR & Old School Resources for Planes & Planar Campaigning.  But now this post is coming back to haunt me, why? Because on of the player's PC's has been messing around with an artifact that he picked up wayback in Feb' of last year.  And now the player in question is camping with his party in the Wilderlands of High Fantasy. What they don't know is that he's carrying a piece of the Egg of Coot with him! Thanks to Havard Blacmoor's blog for causing countless deaths of PC's for close to eleven years now. And this  isn't new folks & the Egg has killed countless PC's across the multiverse.

And now Voltan The Deathless an NPC from out of the mists of time or last year depending upon how you look at it. Now Votltan works for the Egg who is basically a Chaos god & its been amusing itself by being in a contracted war with the Reaper A.I.. Reaper who is an A.I. Lord of Law straight out of Gamma World's Legion of Gold  has been sending numerous cyborgs to kill the PC's and they still haven't caught on.

This campaign was built on the fall out from my Cha'alt/Godbound rpg campaign with the player's PC's basically following in the wake of the other party cleaning up messes that they've left behind. But the entire party was built using the Amazing Adventures line books by Jason Vey.. & the Book of Powers.
The party exited the Atlantian gate way  in tonight's game only to get caught in a 1939 alley way by an egg sentinel &  a pack of three of its witches! The party let loose the dogs of war & that's where we ended for tonight!

The Witch Coven of Garlghast & the Egregore set by Privateer Press (34035),
make excellent substitutes for the witches of Egg of Coot.

The Cha'alt wave hit this Earth & caused massive mutation in any number of humans. Costumed adventurers are real & the Axis began WWII a year or so earlier! They've also bargained with various aliens for advanced technologies & then went fully into a commitment of World War II!

Now the players have numerous questions about this game session, how did Voltan survive & why the Hell are there two Voltans running around?! One cybernetic Voltan works for the Egg of Coot & the second is an agent of Old Reg

How do the events of
Cha'alt: Fuchsia Malaise affect this current campaign?! There are already several theories run around the table in tonight's game. But its been the talk among the player's about the 'adventurer's undergound & resistence movement' that has my attention. What does this have to do with Cha'alt: Fuchsia Malaise and Alpha Blue D20?! No idea but I'll find out next game session..

There are a couple of artifacts that are going to have to be sketched out using the Primal Order for this campaign. Gods for the Castles & Crusades system in this game  are going to come straight from The Primal Order by  Peter Adkison. Now bare in mind that just because this is a gonzo campaign doesn't mean that I don't take the gaming aspect seriously. The version of New York City the PC's teleported into is rotten to the core & there are cults all over the place.
