Eibbor-yscath - Those Who Come Afterward*
These beings are an unholy mix of the technology found in the eyes & last psychic remnants of humans from the year 25 million. These being's cyborg forms possess energy devices capable of killing and disintegrating targets. They are equipped with numerous retractable blades.Including a terrible plasma blade capable of slicing through most materials on earth. They may only use one attack at a time.
They have equipped themselves with all these terrible weapons to fight the very monsters that seek to overwhelm them in this alternative world. Yet they have become the monsters themselves. These beings have lost all sense of right, wrong, pity, even good. Through out time & space they wage a war with the very forces that seek to overwhelm them within their future. The war has twisted them into nothing more then insane beasts now lost to the tides of time & space travel itself.

They often times show up in the past & begin to wipe out the local population to preserve them against the horrors yet to come. They have not realized that there are many different alternative universes lost within the tides of the planes.
Others are sitting on hoards of ancient alien technology convinced that others  of their kind will come for them. They may sit for a million years entering into a psychic stasis only to be awaken by a party of adventurers. They are completely insane & will wipe out anyone they come across.
Yet their is a shred of the old human still locked within. They may 30% after killing an enemy resurrect them with a vita ray. The player's PC will be at 1/2 stats & with rest regain full stats within 1d3 weeks.
They will revert to alignment within 1d6 hours as their "programming" takes over once again.

* Please note that these were done for a friend's Old School Nightlands  campaign. I thought I'd share them. Also see the wonderful article Here by Sandy Peterson of Call of Cthulhu fame. This is a great site & truly needs to be appreciated by the old school.
