Syrup - A product of the gene engineered blue cap fungus of Thatmanus IV, Syrup is a mind enhancing drug with little side effects. It is however very addictive. The drug produces new intelligence enhancing structures within the brains of humans & near humans. Temporarily adding +1 or +3 to base attributes with each dose for 1d6 hours.
To receive the full benefits of the drug the renegades from the spocery guild sponsor syrup tours in which the participants use a variety of unsafe events to let the drug bloom within their minds.
The drug increases Psi scores by 1d4 points but 1d6 points of damage as the user is ravaged by syrup fever. There are a series of shamanic exercises that can be used to avoid the fever. The user makes a series of saving throws to simulate the fever coursing through their body & its ultimate expulsion.
The Bird of Olvia - A fungal familiar grown from the user's own genetic code & RNA. The creature bonds to the user on a psychic level. The bird is able to give the user alien insights & lend its strange fungal perspectives to the user.
The user automatically gains -ESP -True Sight- Ultraviolet & Infra red vision. Once per day the user & the bird can emit a laser like ray for 1d10 points of damage. The user must make a save vs day or be subject to the perverse desires of the bird. (I leave these to the Dungeon Master)
The Sporcery Exa -System - The Spore Gun Style #22 : The spore gun is the weapons systems par excellence. The user must is bonded with the fungal weapon over the course of seven days through a series of painful surgeries. The bio weapon is implanted in the forearm of the user & the healing takes another seven days in cool dark place. The gun grows micro tendrils throughout the user's system & body. It violates the very core of a person's body. The system literally becomes an extension of the person's body.
Through a series of micro baffles & bio lenses the weapon can simulate the following weapons- Z ray pistol, disruptor, or lightning rifle. The weapon is undetectable to most weapon detectors - there is however a psychic trace from the weapon user's themselves.
The user will begin to see the world in terms of targets & friends after every 6 targets is destroyed. The weapon matures after 6 months & if the user misses a saving throw he will want to give into the alien desires of the weapon. The weapon will change at this point & begin to fire off armor piercing spores. These spores each do 1d6 points of damage to the target they will rapidly mature into the original fungus the weapon was harvested from.
There are no prices listed for these items they are only available in the seediest parts of the universe through Renagade Spocery Guild agents. They must be bought with favors & bribes. The costs for them is high indeed though. ;)
