A Few Twisted & Terrible Spells For Your Favorite Retro Clone Space Opera

Peterson's  Piranha Jaws  2nd Level Magic User Spell - A spell which summons an extra dimensional flock of  multi colored Piranha fish that swim through the air at a rate of 1 foot per round. Each fish is 3 hit points each & does only 2 points of damage per turn. They may be directed within a 200 ft range of the caster. There will be 1d10 fish per summoning & they will last 1d4 turns. If used more then 2 times per day the may attack the caster! 

Eyes of The Unclaimed 1st level Cleric spell - The cast may see through the eyes of  any worshiper of his god for 1d4 turns. This spell can only be used 2 times per day! 

Mircoski's Micro Missiles - 3rd Level Magic User Spell - The caster summons a swarm of ancient alien technology from beyond time & space. A group of 1d20 missiles will answer the call. They will be controlled by an insane time twisted A.I.  Each will do 1d6 points of damage & have a range of 200 feet. If used more then once a day the A.I. will want a "favor" in return. 


The Insanity Of Gizz 2nd Level Cleric Spell - The cleric is able to tap into the god energies that surround their deity these act as a filter from the god to his worshipers. The cleric then sends these strange energies reeling towards their target. The target will have the perceptions of a god momentarily stunning him for 1d3 turns. He will see everything as it truly is. At higher levels this spell is used permanently to instill insanity in the target. For some religions this is a blessing & not a curse. The target does get his normal save however. 


Ripen the Tissue 2nd Level Cleric Spell - The cleric is able to call upon his gods to make the tissue & bones of the target juicier & bones become more brittle for 1d3 turns. Anyone taking damage takes double.This spell can be used twice a day. 



Merklin's Side Slip 1st level Magic User Spell - The caster suspends his body in limbo for 1d4 rounds. He becomes intangible for the spell's duration. May only be cast once a day or there is a 30% chance of the caster fading into limbo permanently. 



Merklin's Traveling Limbo Show 2nd Level Magic User Spell - This 2nd level spell allows the user to ride the winds of limbo 1d4 light years. The user must fight the winds not to be randomly blown across the planes however. He might randomly be blown 1d20 light years off course. Unless a successful save is made. This may be cast on 1d6 others if the caster wishes to sacrifice 1d10 credits to the limbo gods. This spell may only be used once per 3 days as a it is an exhausting spell. Make a constitution roll after user reaches his journey or faint for 1d3 hours. 


Take Me To The Other Side Of Terror 3rd Level Cleric Spell - The caster makes a terrible example of the target. A bolt of pure hellish lightning strikes the target while the caster uses the sacrifice to move 1d20 light years across time or space. This spell has a range of 400 yards. The target takes 1d10 points of damage. Often used to single out examples for the gods! 

Fatten The Calf  2nd level Cleric Spell - The caster makes a feast for the target & invokes his god's name over the meal. The target will gain 5 times his own weight & have a heart attack at the end of the meal while the god claims the target's soul. The target is allowed a saving throw however if he is aware of the cleric's intentions. Often used in clerical duels. 

Chill of The Outer Void 2nd level Magic User/3rd Level Cleric Spell -The user surrounds the target with a haze of  outer space dark matter all the while chanting the litany of the space gods. The chill does 1d4 points of damage & has a range of 20". There is a 30% of an avatar of the space gods coming to claim their sacrificial target however. Over use of this spell will result in a 4 hit dice avatar coming for the caster instead. May be cast 3 times per day. 

Know The Flesh 3rd Level Clerical Spell - The caster is able to pick out the best sacrifice for his gods & allows their holy power to flow through him. The cleric will claim the victim for his deity without delay. The cleric enters a berserk state & his eyes glow with the holy fire all hand to hand attacks are at a +2. This spell may be used in combat or as a sedate situation will allow. May be cast as many times as his gods allow. 

Bloody Rip of  Tissues Damned  4th level Cleric Spell - The caster becomes an instrument for his god & one limb is ripped from the target for 1d3 points of damage. The target gets a saving throw however. This spell causes a synaptic shock to the caster doing 2 points of damage for the human frame was not meant for such power! 

Waste Away The Years 3rd Level Magic User Spells - The caster forces time & space to bend to his will & casts the unholy flow of time to his target who will age 1d20 years unless a save versus death is rolled. If successful the caster will instead age. Often used in wizard's duels 

Locate The Horror 2nd Level Clerical Spell - The caster is able to locate a monster created by or sympathetic to his god's cause. The monster must be negotiate with the caster however. This spell has a range of 1 light year.The caster can only cast this once per week or risk being eaten by the next monster. 

Call The Mutation 2nd level Magic User/3rd Level Cleric Spell - The caster is able to know what mutations a target is vulnerable too & which energies will cause the mutation. The spell only has a 20 " range however. The powers which control the spell may with a 20% chance bless the target with those energies at the casting. May only be used 2 times per day! 

Cancer of The Soul 3rd level Cleric Spell -  Cleric wishes a foul & dark thing on the target. He whispers for the powers that be to cause the target a cancer. The target will suffer from this fate at the end of 1d20 days & begin to feel the effects there after. This curse is only used on the most heinous targets. If the target makes a save the caster suffers this fate instead. 

The Unlucky 13th Space Curse 4th level Magic User Spell - The caster places a curse upon the target who will have a very nasty accident the next time their in space. This spell will be in effect for 1d20 days. The space gods may punish the caster if used more then 2 times per month.
 
Summon Space Phantom 3rd level Magic User Spell - The caster goes to a lonely corner of the universe & chants for 3 hours the unholy names of the Outer Ones. A Space Phantom will arrive within 2 turns & demand the secret name. The caster then must give it. The phantom will replace the caster's shadow for 1d4 days. During this time the caster's attacks will be +1 on hand to hand damage as the phantom takes bits of the target's soul. At the end of the spell's duration the phantom may be asked for a secret or forbidden knowledge. The cast must not demand both or the phantom will take a bit of the caster instead. 
Space phantoms are 3 hit dice undead/demonic things left over from the flotsam of the last universe. They hate all current life of this universe. This spell can only be cast once a month or the phantoms will carry the user of to the darkness of other used universe
