Somewhere Over The Hyperspacial Rainbow - A Zaibatsu/Hostile Mini Campaign On Colony World - Earth Session Report 7

 

Following the events on  Tau Ceti five 'The September Group' met up with thier troop transport and then headed back to thier fleet. The Roddy unit wasn't willing to give up his secrets to the group and he's quite valuable. 
So the party has decided to put him on ice for the time being and began to look into the neural parasites. The party's exoscientist made some really good rolls and looked at the brains of the two Chinese soldiers the party picked up on the last adventure. This came with the party's cyberdoc Sawbones. And there were some interesting parallels from when the party had experiences with the Invaders from from Attack Squadron Roswell.  More importantly the two Chinese soldiers had undergone Whole Brainwave Synchro-Energiser pattern therapy.
 This was because two incisions had been done at the base of the neck to
remove the parasites.
 The experiences were so horrifying that the soldiers had to be brain wiped. 

The players PC's then met up with the September fleet and were ordered to return to Earth to make a full report. The party switched over to thier own Rockwell Harbinger Linkovoa which has been modified to haul the Setember Group's
military hardware. And they have the precious endopalladium on board.
The Linkovoa when to make the jump into hyperspace through jump point 
& something went very wrong. The party has found itself around Earth but just not the Earth that they know! And this was totally after a two year cyro sleep.

Thier contact point wasn't there and the Soviet stations weren't answering. More over they had to come up with transponder codes that worked but too a totally different set of landing handlers. 
The party's psionists were scanning and getting total confusion from the Earth officials. The party's codes checked out but they were escorted to drydock for debriefing. The party's documents checked out but the corporates had heard the party was dead some two years ago. 
They contacted thier corporate contact inside Tharsis Heavy Industries
and the gent was totally confused until they spoke of  the precious endopalladium
 and then there was discussions of bonus pay. Our former KriPo (criminal police) officer now organized crime consultant and investigator contacted two of his Chinese underworld contacts. And they thought he was dead. 
The Chinese wanted to speak at length about the situation on Tau Ceti but were confused as to the events on Tau Ceti 5. 
The  players contacted Wild Bill thier cyberlegger buddy outside of New Houston and he was confused about the party being dead or at least that's what he'd heard. He'd like to hire the September group to help take care of a little local bandit  trouble at the usual rate. 

The party wanted to know if Wild Bill was in contact with the local android and cybernetic expert. The party wants to know what the facts are rattling around in the head of the Roddy unit. 
Unless you haven't figured it out by now the player's PC's have crossed over into another universe. And thier trying to make heads or tales about this creepy new Earth.
