I'm trying to find the words to put down how I feel about this artist's death. And there are none.
There really are no words to describe how I'm feeling about HG Giger's death. A bit of numbness perhaps and the dread that some how the world is a bit less interesting and somehow more blatantly static.

If your reading this article then you know all about Giger's artwork, the man himself, and the legacy that he leaves behind. The power of his bio mechanical psycho sexual images and artwork, illustrations, and the shadow of the work defined an entire generation of sci fi fans and every single fan of the Aliens franchise as well as numerous pieces of art. Every year there seemed to have been another Giger piece that I had never seen before through the 80's and 90's.
I think that the rest of today is going to be on autopilot and me trying to process this artist's passing. He's with so many other talents that seem to have been swallowed up by the late 2000's. Rest in peace Maestro Giger. You are gone but will never ever be forgotten.
