Deadly Sins Revisited - A Mutant Future Encounter Or An Encounter For Any Old School Post Apocalyptic Campaign

Heading toward's the communities of  Ruined Cap Cod is the 'Tiger Lily' a nuclear powered cargo vessel with tons of cargo containers on board. The containers actually contain 1d20 packs of rotters on board. The ship can not answer hails and the security camera footage shows the corpse of the captain of the vessel strapped to the wheel.
The vessel was on its way to Nova island, a former resort now a small settlement of mutant farmers in revolt to the local government for over taxation evasion. The ship lost contact two days ago via radio. The marauders who were raiding Nova island have since retreated but now the ship has lost contact. Someone or some thing has sabotaged the ship and sent it on a direct course with the beaches of Cape Cod.
Little does anyone know that aboard the ship is a Nth power generator able to run a small community and recharge most of the standard power cells. The Cap Cod communities are almost self efficient and for many in Cape Cod  the generator means real change. Its worth about a thousand or so credits on the open market and 1500 on the black market
There are several random mutant fungus aboard and they are likely to spread if the ship runs aground.
The communities around Cape Cod want to hire adventurers for the recovery of this information and the delivery of the Nth generator.
They are offering 400 gold piece for the delivery of the generator and a map to the location of a legendary treasure. There are 1d100 cargo units aboard.

Many have thought that this vessel is a curse sent from Hell itself. A vessel sent by the Devil himself for the breaking of a contratual baragin made hundreds of years ago.
