God Heads Of The Derros- They are remains of kings & prophets captured by the Derro who opposed them long ago. They're beings have been entrapped within stone itself & they roam the cosmos sewing false religions & chaos among primitive peoples before moving on to the next civilization.
They have come among people's at times of great galactic upheaval preaching doom & destruction only to disappear leaving their worshipers in states of great depression & despair.
They often come to pave the way for their master's return to planets for plunder & processing. Those who encounter them bare the scars of their battles. These monsters will not back down from a fight unless they are without an audience. They have been known to "sacrifice" themselves in order to create fanaticism among their worshipers. Only to later reappear to claim miracles. They often have planetary cults & have been known to cause untold havoc among fringe planets. There are 2 of the monsters who head pirate guilds & cause further harm to Human Space traffic .
There is a set of adventurer knights who hunt these charlatans among the stars. Even as there is a conclave of Derro still out there recruiting new ones with false promises of power & eternal life. These monster will continue to be thorns in the side of sentients everywhere!
