The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come
Spirit of Law & Time
He appears to his charges as a figure entirely muffled in a black hooded robe, except for a single gaunt hand with which he points. This being is neither angel, demon, or fairy. Although the spirit never speaks his charges understand him, usually through assumptions from his previous experiences and rhetorical questions as well as the spirit's empathic stare. The Ghost's muteness and undefined features (being always covered by his robe) may also have been intended to represent the uncertainty of the future.
The spirit is described as thus - "The Phantom slowly, gravely, silently approached. When it came near him, Scrooge bent down upon his knee; for in the very air through which this Spirit moved it seemed to scatter gloom and mystery. It was shrouded in a deep black garment, which concealed its head, its face, its form, and left nothing of it visible save one outstretched hand. ... It thrilled him [Scrooge] with a vague uncertain horror, to know that behind the dusky shroud there were ghostly eyes intently fixed upon him, while he, though he stretched his own to the utmost, could see nothing but a spectral hand and one great heap of black."
The Spirit is able to shift in time among the shadowy planes of Christmases "yet to be" or "what will bes" The spirit is able to take its charges on grand tours of their lives showing them the error of their ways but neither judging nor punishing only hinting.
Should any attack the spirit it may let loose with a howl that is able to act as a feeble minded spell & the target even if they make their save is subject to stun! They will find themselves awake & rattled! Those who get a glimpse beyond the shroud of this spirit are in for a surprise. They will come face to face with a visage of death itself. They will be subject to fear as per the spell! For this spirit retains its ties to death herself though death is ever present within all holidays including Christmas!
