Carpet Of Parasites

A cross selection of  some of the various parasites that may be summoned with this super science power .

Carpet Of Parasites 
 6th level Super Science Power 

This power creates a 12" By 12" dimensional hole in space that leads directly to the Outer Darkness where the  parasites of  the Outer Gods swim across their flesh. These nasties will infect any caught with in the square space. They will begin to squirm, jump, & pour their way into the regular space time continuum  as the door way remains open between the angles of dimensional space time. Those infected by these nasty monsters can only be healed through the application of Super Science powers, psionic aid, or magic.
The following is but a small sample of the creatures that may appear once this power is used.

These 4 inch long monsters will bore their way through flesh & bone to reach the tender parts of the humanoid brain. The will double in size once the have consumed the cranial matter of  a target. The worms attack doing 1d8 points of damage in addition to flesh de-solving acid they secrete. This acid will do 1d8 points of damage per round & bore through space armor, metal etc. at a rate of  damage per round. They are vary easily dispatched & the acid will neutralize within 1/2  a round after death. psionic vortex breeder

A craven cowardly creature this 6 inch long worm is found in piles along with its brethren, it will jump on a person & attempt to find purchase in any orifice that it can. Once it has crawled within the cavity of its choose it will create a low level psionic screen preventing any super science powers from functioning within 6 foot radius from its victim. 
 Left to its own devices the creature will lay 1d4 eggs & die within 2 rounds the eggs will hatch & the worms will infect others. The cycle will continue.  The application of super science healing devices will hamper the creatures & even remove the infection of these parasites. 
Internal black hole bugs

These 3 inch long black hanging beatles like creatures will crawl into the mouth of any creature & once inside settle in for a  round or so. The beatles will then lay eggs & begin to create a mini black hole within the creature allowing its eggs the perfect fleshy  meal which will be dragged back to the nth dimensional space which these creatures inhabit. The micro dot hole will do 1d6 the first round & continue each round their after. Without the application of super science powers their is a 30% chance that the fissure in time & space will cause a cross planar rip in the fabric of space time locally. There are a number of super science technologies that can heal the damage done by these creatures.

These three  foot long bundles of  fleshless tissue's aim in life is simple, eat as much flesh & matter as it can get a hold of & reproduce. These creatures will attack any thing around them ripping into them with a set of ten teeth of incredible sharpness as it rips off a chuck of flesh. These things will eat 400 or so pounds & then lay their eggs which will hatch & continue the process.  They are fearless & mindless only the application of  plasma has any effect on these monsters. Wounds must be healed by super science

 The spinal possessor is by far the most dangerous creature summoned by this power. It will crawl to any humanoid nervous system in its 1 inch state & thread its way through that system. The creature will then be in full command of the target who will convert those around it to the ways of  the parasite. The creature will infect those around it & begin the process of mass conversion.  It sees itself as a sacrament & the infections of others a blessing toward ultimate perfection. 

 After 1-2 weeks of infection the worm will have replaced the nervous system of those possessed. A 3 foot long worm is now in control of the form. It will form a slit in the back of the victim where it occasionally show itself  now having a variety of  inhuman senses.  The creature can communicate telepathically with those around it. It has a limited form of mind control that will control up to 3 minds if  a saving throw fails. 
Finally the creature will burst forth in a shower of organs ready to be released on the greater universe. The mature form of these creatures has 4 hit dice & are matured into a pregnant state ready to infect those around it. 


Those using this super science power are being sought & hunted by a variety of  astronaut cults, human space authorities,  & many others. Yet they continue to work in groups of three (2 masters & an apprentice) making the extinction of  this deadly manifestation of the Outer Gods a continuing problem
