The Future isn't What It Used To Be - - Orbital Decay (MicroRed version) From The Red Room, Red Novanexus, & The New Flesh Rpg Setting - Captured & The DST

This session picks up with our adventurers stuck out in the wasteland. The player's PC's are stuck in an irradiated section of the wasteland that used to be the West Coast of the US. They found a huge section of a mega world spanning highway!
This session picks right up from the last session here. The first thing our player's PC's is to find a clean water source and untainted food. The players were not expecting the giant mega  truck that drove up to them on the superhighway.

A huge electrified net came shooting out of the mega truck which belonged to the local  GenshiCorp lab & corporate base set up! The PC's were shocked into submission and awoke in a covert federal agency facility , the Department of Secure Transport (DST)! GenshiCorp checked them out and declared them fit and healthy a rarity in this wasteland of horror.
The PC's were offered a job as highwaymen agents for the DST.
In a near-future America dominated by unchecked corporate power and rampant biological experimentation, the government has been sidelined. A covert federal agency, the Department of Secure Transport (DST), still operates, but with dwindling resources and a desperate mandate: counter corporate bioweapons and illegal "flesh-warping" operations on the nation's highways

Players portray the "Highwaymen," former law enforcement or military personnel who have been disillusioned by the system but still believe in a shred of justice.
  • Character Archetypes:
    • The Driver:  Focuses on piloting the truck, high-speed maneuvers, and vehicle modifications.
    • The Tech:  Specializes in the truck's computer systems ("Stealth" mode, surveillance, hacking) and the ethical use/repair of its advanced tech.
    • The Negotiator/Infiltrator: Manages interactions with seedy fixers, black market contacts, and morally gray informants in the various urban "Interzones".
    • The Vehicles: The Wraiths
The iconic, transforming semi-trucks (based on the show's Kenworth and Peterbilt designs) are renamed  "Wraiths." They are the players' mobile bases, life-support systems, and primary tools.
      • Wraith Features:
        • "Stealth" Mode:  An optical camouflage system that renders the truck (or a smaller vehicle inside) temporarily invisible.
        • Hidden Pursuit Vehicle:  Each Wraith houses a smaller, faster vehicle (e.g., a Lotus Esprit or MR2 equivalent) for urban pursuits or discreet operations.
        • Integrated Med-Bay/Bio-Lab:  A crucial area for examining "new flesh" evidence, treating victims, and potentially performing their own "flesh modifications" (at a high moral and humanity cost).
        • The Wraiths are manufactured by Peterbilt down in Texas and being custom have a deep connection to the DST.

    • The Wetware Specialist: Deals with the "new flesh" threats, using salvaged or stolen medical/biological tech to counteract mutations or treat victims.
While the PC's are training and dealing with various mutant instructors. The aliens from the Beyond have crossed over timelines and are searching the wastelands for the PC's.
The party meanwhile have begun training on the Wraith mega trucks. And their scout Terrance has double backed to the ruins where the scout ship was stored. And saw three alien shuttles. He quietly rushed back to the PC's.
