Appendix N For 'The Voyages Of The USS Pegasus' Stars Without Number Campaign

Appendix N For 'The Voyages Of The USS Pegasus' Stars Without Number Campaign
I've assembled over the course of about a day some resources that I've mostly assembled from Good Will, Used Book shops and other sources. About ninety percent of this is still available quite cheaply or if you hunt around you can find it.

Here's what I'm using and some of the  reasons why:
  1. The Star Trek Concordance - This guide goes over in entries everything from the original series all the way through Next Generation stuff. There are some things in this that are out of date and I'm exploiting that fact to fill in some of my own campaign's canon.
  2. This original D&D Star Trek Pdf available for free right over HERE. The reason for using this is simple - Because its based on OD&D and Stars Without Numbers is as well it translates.
  3. The Star Trek Chronology with holes and all this is a resource to be exploited and twisted as needed.
  4. The Star Trek Encyclopedia Updated and Expanded. The Concordance has a lot of stuff but for everything else there's this book.
  5. The Encyclopedia of Monsters - This is an excellent book for figuring out base line stats for Stars Without Number especially for OD&D. This one has quite a few things in it all ready including many of the mutated monsters from Space 1999 and Galactica.
  6. Aliens, Robots, and Space Ships - The same as the Encyclopedia of Monsters this book provides an solid base line to work stats up from.
Gaming Material
(quick, fast, dirty list. This will change rapidly throughout the campaign)

  1. The Carcosa Grimoire
  2. X plorers box set with the hand outs
  3. Realms of Crawling Chaos from Goblinoid Games
  4. Stars Without Number and Stars Ships and Space Men Second edition
  5. Various bits of translated Mutant Future material
This is just some of the material that I'm currently working through as I write. There's more to come.

  2. Yep I've had em all as well. Recently I required the Jeff Rovin encyclopedias from Good Will and I've been using the heck out of 'em. They provide a nice base line for detailing stats and creating some of the monsters, ships, robots, of 70's cheese science fiction. Plus its a fun read.

  4. Its might be a day or so yet before I can put together something. I'm going over Galactica episodes, Space 1999 stuff, and a bit of Star Trek. So give me a day or so yet.
