There are those creatures that the citizens of human space encounter are truly & utterly alien. One such race is the The M'ugakrtic. They are named after Chanaugor the world where they were first encountered. They simply call themselves - The spawn. Their term for the clone banks from which they come. The smooth skinned pink creatures see themselves as the appointed guardians of those who visit the planar dimensions. They insist on accompanying those who venture into the Ever Changing Grey Road. They watch, observe, & remark about the journeys that adventurers take. It has been speculated that the race is actually a planar hive mind & uses a strange conceptual metaphor language among themselves . Each of these creatures knows exactly what the others see & know. They follow a rather lawful path but are not necessarily good or bad as we know it. They have been associated with the planar entity's known as the Dragon of the Moon & its repentant cults.
The spawn think in terms of 4th generational meta-logic & move through the higher dimensional cause ways at will. They often serve as middle men between alien species & meta human kind. Although men have have some success in figuring out their thought patterns & mores of their society it must be remembered these are truly an alien interplanar species.
Their critics claim that they are a logical race, deciding their actions on complex calculations rather than on personal opinions or emotion. They are largely a neutral people, apparently unwilling to participate in the conflicts that they view as beneath them, but take action when their calculations show that their intervention is necessary. Nothing more then cosmic gamblers calculating the odds of various civilizations & moving the pieces where necessary
Planar demons hate the creatures with a fury unmatched by any & speak of them as nothing more then planar gladiatorial fans who will not take sides in any conflict. They speak of their relationships with creatures called modrons. The M'ugakrtic will not speak of such creatures & think that it is in bad taste. These creatures may be encountered anywhere in the known universe.
Super Science Powers
These powers may be used up to three times per day or after a period
of one sleep cycle while the creature recharges from the cosmic all.
Each track of opportunity brings 2 or more chooses to the ordered minds of the M'ugakrtic |
- The Order of It All - A ray of pure order that will reduce a target to its essential elements does 1d8 points of damage. Super science may heal wounds made by this ray
- The blue yellow eye of this creature has the following powers: Control Machine, Extra vision, Astrakinesis, Mind Bar, Telekinesis & Esp.
- Dimensional Flux: The M'ugakrtic hits the target with a blue black ray that puts the target slightly out of dimensional faze but does no damage unless a save vs is made. The target may take no actions which will effect the normal space time continuum for 1d4 rounds.
- Hoof strike for 1d8 points of damage.
I wish I had "super science powers." ;)
