The new Mad Max: Fury Road trailer is very well done and I'm really excited to see this post apocalyptic wasteland adventure! The world looks very dark and very nasty. It doesn't look like so much a reboot as a whole new take on the franchise.
For the highway wasteland warrior fans this isn't going to be one to miss. The whole genre is positioned to explode if this this film goes right with the public. You can bet your bottom dollar that there will be a ton of Kickstarters following in the wake of this film.
This film is going to have echoes across countless post apocalyptic table tops. The trailers for this film look very well done.
So we're going to be seeing a Max that is going to be hurt, trashed, and broken. There will be twists and turns in the wastes. This is a tortured down & dirty version of the wastes. A place where civilization is almost gone completely and the human is almost extinct. There are echoes here of ecological disasters, society tearing itself apart and a whole lot more.
Its interesting to see the presence of 'gas cults' and the edge on religions of the wastes in this film. I can't wait to see what other details are coming down the pike.
