Mechanical Notes for Castles & Crusades:

  • Sanity Checks: Use standard Attribute Checks (Wisdom or Charisma) with a Challenge Class (CC) scaling from 10 + HD of the cosmic entity.

  • Prime Attributes: Characters with Wisdom or Charisma as a Prime Attribute set their base target number to 12 when resisting cosmic horror; non-Primes use 18.
