So the Wretched Game Master's Screen (Landscape Inserts) By Miguel Ribeiro came bounding it's way into my inbox. And over the course of a day or so I started to look into the eleven pages of the DM's screen.
Warghoul's cover artwork definitely makes the Wretched rpg system come alive for me as a DM. All of the grindhouse exploitive weirdness of the OSR Wretchedverse is contained within that one little piece of artwork especially that little bastard giving us the audience the finger.
And its a damn servicable screen! Just incase you didn't know these are not the good guys but the bastards. We've got breakdowns of the various charts, combat breakdown, etc. all within the Wretched Game Master's Screen. But so what?! We need more! Well what we get is a truly interesting & useful screen here with a mix of the charts from the Wretched basic rules system. And more warghoul artwork scattered between tables.
This isn't a bad mix but thing that keeps this from being a fantastic DM screen?! The incusion of a basic bare bones adventure that one finds within all of the old 70's & 80's classic era TSR screens. Gamma World first edition comes to mind here! But overall for a pay what you want DM's screen the Wretched Game Master's Screen is a must have!
