Ordethurorglag- The Space Mouth are the remains of an planar energy life form that survived the ending of the old universe. They are one to two light years long & unfold themselves to feed on particles, gases, & space debris. They also capture any passing space ships that happen to blunder into their energy webbings. These monsters can be quite a problem for passing ships & space travelers.
Those who blunder into their webs are given a jolt of planar energy for 1d6 points of damage. Then reeled into the "mouth" of the creature for another 1d4 points of damage per round. A Dexterity roll is need to escape these monsters. A saving throw against poison is needed to shrug off the negative planar energies that will still be coursing through the character.
It is supposed by scientists that these creatures think at a completely different rate then normal life. Their thoughts are so slow that they appear mindless. They are immune to most super science powers effecting mind or psionics.
Many times these monsters exist in gas & energy clusters feeding on a dying star or two.
