These monsters stalk the planar byways bringing blessed dissolution to those they kill & devour. They are aligned with the aspect of the goddess who is insatiable monster that consumes everything that lives. She represents the devouring mother, in whom both the womb and the grave exist. They come when bidden by their summoner & many times consume both the target & the summoners. They serve her in the various planes of existence.
These monsters only exist partially in this time space continuum & are non corporeal to most physical attacks. Energy weapons & super science powers however do full damage
The Kephosila attack with all four paws at the same time or 2 claws per round. They also vomit forth a ball of negative planar energy that hits with 2-12 points of damage unless a save vs. three times per day Many times they will attack with a bite & claws at the same time. Wounds are ragged, strangely infected & may only be healed with super science .

These creatures hate the Hounds_of_Tindalos with a passion & the two will fight to non existence when ever they meet! Super Science Powers
- Ride The Wild Winds -The Kephosila summons forth the winds between the planes & sets forth to stalk its prey within 2 rounds
- Track The Meat - The monster may add a trace to a target & track them regardless where they may flee to across the oververse. There are several super science abilities that may mask this however it is only a temporary
- Blessed Non Existence - The target is hit by the eye of Coutlicue & will be eroded from existence unless a save vs is made. The target's existence is erased from the time space continuum. His existence reverts to the goddess. This power is only used once per day & only used for those who have truly offended this goddess
- Blessings of Coatlicue - The hounds may grant the following abilities for those who swear their souls to this planar power: Esp, Mind Bar, Psychokinesis, & others at Gm's whim
- Slime of Coatlicue - The hound vomits a viscious slime that hits for 1d8 points of stunning damage. The target then must roll save vs or be held with a bubble of non time. This is often done so that other servitors of Coutlicue will collect the target at a later time.
Who can blame 'em for hating the hounds of Tindalos, really? ;) Seriously, though those are some nicely evocative super science powers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Trey! I keep thinking of your take on the Hounds of Tindalos!
